March 6, 2012Be a part of something BIG!!!As announced at the DLM triennial conference in Brussels last December, the MoReq2010 work programme and project team (which was put together to develop and publish the MoReq2010 specification and test materials) will be winding down in May of this year (2012). It will be replaced by a new look MoReq Governance Board (MGB) that will be launched at the spring AGM in Copenhagen.
The new MGB will continue to build on the core services foundation that has already been laid down, and to expand the reach of MoReq2010 into new industries and in new directions. It will also oversee the continuing and increasingly active translation programme, the accreditation, certification and testing programme, and other MoReq-related initiatives. For those seeking more information about the new MGB and how it will operate going forward there is now a short primer available for download. The DLM Forum is looking for panellists to join the new structure and take part in the MGB programme of activities. Starting with the launch in Copenhagen, the 12 months from spring 2012 to spring 2013 is already shaping up to be an amazing first year for the MGB with an unprecedented number of MoReq2010 project concepts already under active consideration. The DLM Forum is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the different panels of the new MGB (not to mention you seasoned veterans out there).
