Jon Garde is the author of the MoReq2010 specification and serves on the Executive Committee where he is currently the Secretary of the DLM Forum.
Following the completion of the 2010 Work Programme for MoReq - the project that produced the MoReq2010 standard - Jon was appointed to become the Chair of the MoReq Governance Board. In this role, his primary responsibility is to lead the ongoing development and refinement of the MoReq2010 standard and to coordinate activities across the parallel streams represented by the different permanent and project panels.
Outside the DLM Forum, Jon is co-founder and director of Journal IT, an independent consultancy based in the United Kingdom. Journal IT specialises in thought leadership, business process, records, information and knowledge management advice, implementation and training. The company is currently engaging in several exciting and innovative projects in Information Governance.
With Strategy Partners, Journal IT has recently helped to develop a new Information Governance Framework and accompanying practical methodology that can be applied to any public or private organisation and used for analysis, audit, strategic planning and purchasing.
